This project will be the furthest downstream that the Alliance has ever worked! It is in East Greenwich between Route 29 and Skellie Road. We will be installing structures to stabilize a long eroding high bank and to provide cover and shelter.
Below is a view looking upstream along the eroding bank. The river is too wide here, and the bank failure is adding excess sediment to the river system.
